Basics of Hindu Life

Basics of Hindu Life =>

Four basic purposes of Life for a Hindu:
———————————————-

Dharma, Kama , Artha, Moksha

Therefore four phase(Ashrams) of Life:
———————————————–
Bramhacharya, Grihastha, Vanaprastha, Sanyasa respectively.

Bramhacharya (Bachelorhood – coming from Dharma):- Learn Dharma(wisdom), Live ascetic life, Gain Knowledge, Gain enlightenment and knowledge as how to spend the life with truthfulness, braveness, wisdom, poise and non-attachment to personal and adverse conditions as you direct your Karma in right direction. You indulge in service oriented activities, so that your heart will flower, and you will be rid of the individual attachments. In the process you earn great spiritual merit, that would help you, in your spiritual persuit.(and heavens as well)

Grihastha(Married life – coming from Kama):- You fulfill your desires, got married and begot children. So they will pray for you to move into the higher worlds, after you leave your mortal coil.

Vanaprastha(Working Life – coming from Artha):- You created wealth, in order to earn the good merit – so it will help you and your family in the hereafter.

Sanyasa(Ascetic Life, the final stage – coming from Moksha):- (the ultimate dissolution of the individual entity into the cosmic being) – All life is only a means, to reach this highest spiritual attainment, called Enlightenment(called Moksha).

The central quest of Indian civilization is enlightenment. It is towards this goal that the ancient sages explored consciousness, and set out in quest of understanding the mysterious experience called life.

One of the most astounding definitions of life’s purpose was arrived at in this land by the sages. They called it – the four purusharthas, or the fourfold purpose of life. Artha(creating Wealth), Kama(fulfilment of Desires), Dharma (an expand in state of self where you are involved in helping a larger cause) , Moksha (the ultimate dissolution of the individual entity into the cosmic being).

Each one of these were never an end in itself.
1. Artha(creating Wealth) – You created wealth, in order to earn the good merit – so it will help you in the hereafter.
2. Kama(fulfilment of Desires) – You fulfill your desires, got married and begot children. So they will pray for you to move into the higher worlds, after you leave your mortal coil.
3. Dharma (sewa or helping a larger cause)- You indulge in service oriented activities, so that your heart will flower, and you will be rid of the individual attachments. In the process you earn great spiritual merit, that would help you, in your spiritual persuit.(and heavens as well)
4. Moksha(the ultimate dissolution of the individual entity into the cosmic being) – All life is only a means, to reach this highest spiritual attainment, called Enlightenment(called Moksha).

Therefore we had four ashrams of life called Brahmacharya, Grahasta, Vanaprastha and Sanyasa. The word ashram means shelter implying that the person takes shelter successively in each of the four stages during his life’s journey.

When India lost touch, with its true spirit of spiritual awakening, it degenerated, in every other way.

GET BACK THE VISION OF INDIA TO ITS VEINS, AND INDIA WILL RISE BACK LIKE A PHOENIX FROM THE ASHES.

I have a serious issue with out Sages/Gurus who are propagating Bhakti Yoga and advising people to leave their properties/wives for enjoyment of invaders. Brahmans(enlightened ones) running away from their Karma to direct the Kshatriyas(soldiers) and the society to Dharma.

Even Shri Rama and Lord Krishna received enlightenment and then only in their Gurukul they realized what they actually are. But these days – the Gurus are so much scared that they don’t want to organize Dharmis and their Karma is directed to the safe and secluded path – Sanyasa and that’s it.

Where is Dharma,Artha,Kama,Moksha? Where is Bramhacharya,Vanaprastha,Grihastha,Sanyasa?

Bhakti Yogis have distorted the entire message of “Karma Yoga” which is explained in Bhagwad Gita.

Entire Bhagwad Gita tells us to go ahead and act. It tells us to Identify our Karma (thoughts, speech, deeds) and direct them with wisdom (Dharma).

Bhakti yogis distorted the entire message to – “leave everything and go back to Jungle. Sit somewhere and start chanting names of Lord” (Bhakti yogis were given special treatment by the invaders because they posed no challenge to them – they just left their wives and properties for invaders and go to jungles in early ages and advised others to do so as well)

Sankhya yoga is sure present in Bhagwad Gita – it explains as how you can inquire the truth and wisdom as you sit in yoga. But Sankhya yoga is not in the middle of battlefield – its back at home when you sit at a secluded place.

The “cowardice and indolence” which Bhakti Yogis are propagating in the name of Hinduism – Is no where the message of Bhagwad Gita.
